REICHSTAG DISTURBED
GERMAN CABINET MAY RESIGN REJECTION OF PROPOSALS BERLIN, Sunday. The resignation of the German Cabinet appears to be inevitable in consequence of a meeting of the Reichstag members of the People’s Party rejecting financial proposals made by the Socialist and Catholic Parties. The members of the People’s Party have instructed their representatives in the Cabinet—Dr. Curtius (Foreign Affairs) and Herr Moldenhauer (Finance) —to resign. The Chancellor, Dr. Mueller, may submit the entire Cabinet’s resignation tomorrow. On the other hand attempts may be made to carry on until the Hague agreements have been ratified.
