COMEDY OF FEAR
Excellent New Play by Little Theatre Society “THE MAN THEY BURIED” The Auckland Little Theatre Society is starting activities this year with a remarkable play, “The Man They Buried,” by Karen Bramson. It is described as a comedy of fear, and is recognised as one of the outstanding repertory plays of the last few years. It is a splendid piece of work and will cause considerable discussion. The task is a large one, and a great amount of has been experienced in getting together players to give an adequate interpretation. However, the producer, Mr. Kenneth Brampton, is satisfied that full justice will be done to this rather ambitious attempt. The season at the Concert Chamber will last from April 2 to April 5. It is good to know- that in these days of depression in the drama our own Little Theatre Society is making such splendid efforts to keep it alive. All members will look forward with pleasure and anticipation to tile "Man They Buried.”
