SUCCESSFUL CARNIVAL HELD From Our Own Correspondent PDKEKOHB, Thursday. Th ®, r ® was an attendance of 600 at the 1 ukekoho Swimming; Club’s first aquatic carnival, held in the Municipal U* 11 ? 3 last evening-. The Mount Luen, Wa11ernata, Ponsonby and Grammar Clubs were strongly represented. Competition was keen, and some good finishes were recorded. G. Bridson, the New Zealand champion, won the plaudits of the crowd each time he made his appearance in the water. Results were: Tiny Tots girls—L. Clark, 1; M. Treanoi, n. Anderson, 3.
