PONSONBY SCHOOLS HOLD SWIMMING SPORTS Curran Street School won the championships for boys and girls in the combined sports of the Ponsonby schools, held at Shelly Beach Baths before a large attendance, yesterday afternoon. CHAMPIONSHIP RACES NORTH SHORE CARNIVAL Excellent entries are assured for the important championship swimming carnival to be held in the Tepid Baths on Tuesday evening by the North Shore Swimming Club. Auckland championships for the men’s 150 yards, the inter-club relay and the women’s 50 yards events will be held. . Two well-matched teams, Mount Eden and Parnell, will play water polo.
