EX-SHAH DEAD

CAREER OF PERSIAN RULER DEPOSED IN 1925 PARIS, Thursday. The death has occurred of Ahmed Mirza, ex-Shah of Persia. He was deposed in 1925 and subsequently became interested in the production of scent. Ahmed Mirza, deposed Shah of Persia, was born on January 20, IS9S. and on July 16, 1909, succeeded his father, Mohammed Ali Mirza, to tlie throne. Ahmed ruled at first through Regents, but was crowned in July, 1914, and took over the government himself. Nevertheless, he was still in the hands of the then Premier, Reza Khan (now Shah). Ahmed left the country in November, 1923, and lived in Europe. Several demands that he should return to Persia were igilored by him, and eventually lie was deposed, Reza becoming Shall in October. 1925.
