CHARGE OF HERESY
DUTCH PROFESSOR FACES CHURCH COURT ATTITUDE TOWARD BIBLE Reed. 9 a.m. CAPETOWN, Thurs. A special synod meeting of the Dutch Reformed Church, which Is a final court of appeal, consisting of 400 of the clergy and elders, has commenced sittings to decide charges of heresy against the Rev. Duplessis, a professor at the Stellenbosh University. The proceedings are being held in private. The charges arise from his nonacceptance of the entire Bible as Infallible.
