RIVAL LEADERS IN CHINA INSURGENTS PREPARING Reed. 9 a.m. SHANGHAI, Thursday. A straight-out fight to settle whether Cliiang Kai Shek or Yen Hsi Shan is to rule the roost in China looms inevitably as brisk preparations for conflict with the Nanking Government proceed throughout the Northern provinces. Yen Hsi Shan is expected to leave Tai Yuan Fu shortly to take charge of the anti-Chiang Kai Shek campaign. Hankow evidently is to be the first objective of the insurgents.
