YOUNG IMMIGRANT IN COURT Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Nineteen charges of theft, involving £7B in money and articles, were admitted by Godfrey Ernest Parmenter, aged 17, who was stated to be an immigrant. The thefts were nearly all committed in hotels, including New Plj'mouth and Wanganui, and include, railway tickets, a letter of credit, theatre tickets, watches, wallets, cigarette cases, etc. A remand was sought and granted, the police intimating that, with the exception that accused was charged with theft and being idle and disorderly at New Plymouth, they did not know much about him.
