Donald Cup was nlaved on the West End Bowling Club s green yesterday afternoon, when MudgR van patched and Logan notched a win against Elliott, O'Leary, Morgan and Doull. The score was 23 to 14. COROMANDEL TRIP Under very pleasant conditions the four teams 'from Stanley who made the trip to Coromandel last Saturday had a very pleasant outing. Mr. Darroeh placed his launch at the disposal of the party and the run down was made in good time. Asesmblmg on the green Mr. Beveridge the president of the Coromandel Club welcomed very cordially thenfriends from Stanley, which meeting they all look forward to with much pleasure. The “ashes” were defended bv Stanley, but the Coromandel teams playing up to good form succeeded in beating Stanley by 7G points to 69.
