BUS AND VAN COLLIDE

ONE PASSENGER INJURED From Our Own Correspondent • PUKEKOHE, Wednesda3 r . A bruised back and left arm were suffered by Mr. J. Russell, of Pukekohe Hill, when Wheeler and Sons’ passenger bus collided with one of the Franklin Electric-power Board’s light motor-vans. The collision took place shortly after 8 a.m. on the Pukekohe-Drury Road, near the Wesley College, at Paerata. The bus was carrying a full load of passengers and Mr. Russell was standing immediately behind the driver. His clothes were torn to ribbons. Nobody else was hurt.
