ST. HELENS HOME
£2,000 GRANT FOR RENOVATIONS The Minister of Public Health, the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, on Wednesday authorised the spending of £2,000 on renovations at the St. Helens Home, Auckland. The work is to include portion of the nurses’ home block. This work has been contemplated for mare than 12 months, but the money was not available. However, the work is urgent, and the Minister has sanctioned the immediate carrying out of it.
