More About Strephon Of the Australian horse Strephon 11., who is now located at New market, in the care of S. H. Darling, an English writer says: “A resident colleague tells me that he has been watching this horse for some weeks. He likes the colt’s general conformation; his shoulders, and hjs quarters, and is e*> tremely confident that Darling place him to win some nice races, ? should be guessing if I made any soft of prediction in this instance, outside his Australian record, Strephon 11. is an unknown quantity so far as 1 am concerned. Nevertheless, I have the utmost respect for my friend s judgment, so will express the notion that those abroad, who like to back invaders against English performers, may well follow the animal we have been discussing. After six months ’ n England his acclimatisation should ° 9 quite complete.’’
