INCOME TAX ADDITION
VICTORIAN GOVERNMENT’S PROPOSAL RELIEF FOR UNEMPLOYMENT United P.A. —By Telegraph—Copyright Reed. 11 a.m. MELBOURNE, Today. Additional taxes on income, both from personal exertion and from property are planned by tile Victorian Labour Government to provide for unemployment relief. It is proposed by this method to raise £400,000 immediately by imposing a tax of a halfpenny in the pound on incomes over £2OO and one penny in the pound on incomes derived from property.
