NOTED SURGEON DEAD
FOUNDER OF ORDER OF FROTHBLOWERS SIR ALFRED FRIPP British Official Wireless Reed. noon. RUGBY, Wednesday. The death occurred this morning of Sir Alfred Fripp. the eminent surgeon and founder of the charitable organisation known as -the Order of Frothblowers. Sir Alfred Downing Fripp, K.C.V.0., Knight of Grace of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem in England, was born in Blandford, Dorset, on September 12, 1865. He was Surgeon-in-Ordinary to the King and to the Duke of Connaught and was formerly senior surgeon at Guy’s Hospital. He was late Sur-geon-in-Ordinary to King Edward VII. He was created a knight in 1903 and was a member of the advisory board for Army Medical Services. He was also surgeon to the Hospital for Women and Children, Waterloo Bridge Road,
