WOMEN’S DIVISION OF FARMERS’ UNION
PIO PIO BRANCH TUe women's division of the Farmers’ Fnion held a most successful day at rio Pio on tlie occasion of the annual eve fair. As the result of the day's work the branch's fund benefited to the extent of £ll. The various activities were in riiarge ot' the following:—Refreshments: Mesdames C. K. Wilson. Cullen. Coyle. Fetch. V. R. Smith and Williams: produce stall. Mrs. Gould: bran tub. Miss Ida MacKenzie: soft drinks, Air*. L. Young: ices, Mesdames CayleyAlexander and C. Jackson, Miss M, Gould. Surplus supplies of ice cream were taken down to the saleyards, where they met with a quick sale.
