HERMINIUS SAILS TOMORROW.— At day tight tomorrow the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Herminius is to be dispatched from Auckland for New York, Boston, Halifax and London via Panama.
PORT CAMPBELL AT LONDON. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Campbell is reported to have arrived at London from New Zealand last Sunday. She was dispatched from Wellington, via Panama, on January 16.
CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST.— With cargo from the Pacific Coast for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney, the Union Company’s motor-ship Hauraki is due at Auckland on Friday afternoon from Los Angeles.
WEIRBANK REPORTS.—According to a radio message received by Spedding, Ltd., the motor-ship "Weirbank is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon from Peru. After pratique has been granted, the vessel will berth at Chelsea to discharge her cargo of raw sugar. MAUI POMARE DUE SATURDAY.— Radio advice received by Spedding, Ltd., states that the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare is expected to arrive at Auckland at daylight next Saturday from Apia,’ Samoa and Niue Island. After landing passengers, mails and part cargo, the vessel leaves again the same afternoon for Southern ports. RUAHINE HOME.—According to cable advice received by the- local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the liner Ruahine, which loaded in New Zealand, and sailed from Napier on January 17 for Southampton and London, arrived at Southampton on February 22, two days ahead of schedule.
GOLDEN WEST ON FRIDAY.—Due at Auckland on Friday morning from the Pacific Coast, the O. and O. Line’s steamer Golden West will discharge the local portion of her cargo under the agency of Henderson and Macfarlane before proceeding to Wellington and Lyttelton to complete. She has been allotted a berth at the Central Wharf. AORANGI SAILING.—After landing the Auckland passengers at Motuihi Island and undergoing fumigation, the Royal Mail liner Aorangi returned to Auckland this morning and berthed at Sheerlegs Wharf to take in water and embark passengers. Passengers from Auckland were taken to the Aorangi by a ferry steamer, which left Central Wharf shortly after noon. After the passengers embarked the Aorangi took her departure for Sydney. REMUERA AT MOTUIHI.—The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera arrived from London and Southampton this morning. The vessel anchored at the Motuihi Island anchorage at 8 30 The passengers will come to Auckland’bv tender and are expected at the wharf about midday. After unloading explosives the Remuera is to come into port tomorrow to unload general merchandise for Auckland. The remainder of th~ cargo is for Port Chalmers and Bluff. The vessel will berth at the Central Wharf.
KARAMEA LEAVES GISBORNE.— Leaving Gisborne last evening for Opua and Auckland, the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s motor-ship Karamea* is due here on Friday to continue her loading under the agency of A. S. Paterson and Company. From this port the vessel proceeds to Wellington, where she completes loading and finally departs on March S for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Panama.
TUTANEKA! COMING.—The Government steamer Tutanekal is to leavo Wellington for East Coast lighthouses and Auckland toward the end of this week.
MAI MOA AT LONDON.—The Shaw, Savill Company advises that the steamer Maimoa. which was delayed at the Azores owing to an outbreak of fire, arrived at London last Saturday. The Maimoa sailed from Napier on January 6 for London, via the Panama Canal. MAHENO AT BLUFF.—The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the passenger steamer Maheno arrived at Bluff at 11. SO a.m. yesterday from Melbourne, and later proceeds to Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due at Wellington on Friday, and sails again the following day for Bluff and Melbourne. She is expected to clear the Canterbury port finally on March. S for London, via Panama. LARGO LAW ARRIVES—An arrival to the stream at Auckland this morninr was the steamer Largo Law with a cargo of basic slag for discharge at Auckland and New Plymouth. She later berthed at the King’s Wharf to unload the local portion under the agency of the Nejr Zealand Shipping Company.
