BABY SEA-LION DIES

SEEMED IN GOOD HEALTH The death occurred at the Auckland Zoo yesterday of the bay sea-lion, aged two months. In announcing the happening, the Town Clerk, Mr. J. S. Brigham, said this morning that the baby’s death would be felt keenly at the zoo. Its death was all the more regrettable as the baby was the first of its species born in captivity in Auckland. It had seemed in good health. An inquest will bo held.
