JUBILEE PICNIC

The jubilee picnic of the Auckland Zionist Society was held yesterday, when the Condor journeyed to Motutapu with a record gathering of members.

On arrival, a lengthy programme of sports events was run, prizes for which were presented by the Rev. S. A. Goldstein, president of the society. During the afternoon Mr. Ben Green, of "Wellington, editor of "The Jewish Times,” was the recipient of a presentation made by the Rev. Mr. Goldstein on- behalf of Auckland Zionists. Mr. Goldstein paid a glowing tribute to the conspicuous services Mr. Green had given to the Zionist movement.
