Colonel Noel Adams, of Wharepapa station, arrived in Auckland today.

Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P. for Waitomo, was a passenger to Frankton by the Limited this morning.

Messrs. J. S. Fletcher, IT. R. Jenkins, and G. C. Munns, M.P.’s, returned t.o Auckland by the Limited today

Pr. Raymond Firth, of Auckland, who bas been appointed lecturer in anthropology at the Sydney University, left for Sydney by the Ulimaroa yesterday.

Bishop F. M. Molyneux bishop of Melanesia, left for Sydney by the Ulimaroa on his way to England, where he will attend the Lambeth Conference.

Mr. J. Wilson, of Somervell and Wilton, accompanied by Mrs. Wilson and Master Wilson, left by the Ulimaroa vesterday on an extended visit to England and the Continent.

Mr. Peter Williams, the well-known Russell deep-sea fisherman, will leave

from Wellington by the Tahiti on Tuesday to join Mr. Zane Grey at Papeete. After three months of deep-sea fishing there he will go to Mr. Grey’s home in the Catalina Islands. Mr. Williams has been associated with Mr. Grey for some time, and accompanied him to Tahiti.
