RAILWAYMAN INJURED
STRUCK BY WINCH HANDLE Press Association INVERCARGILL, Today. Through being accidentally struck on the head by a winch handle at his work yesterday afternoon. Mr. James Fitzpatrick, railway employee, married, aged 54 years, received a compound fracture of the skull and laceration of the face. His condition before he underwent an operation last evening was reported to be serious.
