THEFT CHARGE
REMAND ON BAIL Charged with failing to account for £1 5s to R. J. K. Simpson on December 19, thereby committing theft, Raymond William Dorricott appeared at the Police Court this morning and was remanded until Tuesday. Mr. Smyth appeared for Dorricott, who was described as a motor-driver, aged. 25. Counsel agreed to the remand, remarking that he understood there vfrould be further charges. He asked for bail, to which the chiefdetective made no objection. Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., fixed bail in one surety of £25.
