DECEMBER FIGURES Dnring December New South Wales exported 36,277,1001 b. o£ greasy and scoured wool, valued at £1,880,409, to various parts dt the world, states •n Australian paper. These figures supplied by the Customs Department show that the biggest buyers in the order mentioned were France, United Kingdom, Ger™any, Japan, Belgium, and Italy. Exports in pounds and their value to the various countries for the month were:—
Last season close on £12,000,000 worth of dairy produce was sent away the Waikato and Thames districts. This year it has been officially stated that production is already up oy 8 per cent., and given good dairyu»g weather, it is confidently anticipated that last season’s figures will "® surpassed. In the 1928-29 season ~~ previous records were beaten by 10 per cent.
