NUT CREAM FOR SOUP
To half a cupful of cream that has been beaten until stiff, two tablespoonfuls of nuts and a few grains of salt and cayenne pepper are added. A small portion of this may be dropped, at the last moment, on any delicately flavoured cream soup. Black lace lends itself beautifully to the uneven hems and floating draperies that distinguish the smart dinner and dance frock.
