SOUTH AFRICAN FARMERS
ARRIVAL IN NORTH Special to THE SUN DARGAVILLE, Thursday. The party of South African farmers arrived at Kirikopuni from Auckland his afternoon, and was met by representatives of the Farmers’ Union, »nd conveyed to Dargaville. Later the visitors were taken on a tour of the district, returning in time for dinner.
This evening the delegates were given a civic reception by the Mayor, Mr. F. A. Jones, and accorded a wel* come by Mr. A. W. Mangan, president of the Northern Wairoa branch of the Partners’ Union. Tomorrow the party will be taken for a visit to Trounson Kauri Park, and other places of interest. In the evening they will be motored to Whangarei.
