ODDFELLOWS ATTEND
A very enjoyable social and dance marked the 34th anniversary of the Myrtle Rebekah Lodge No. 4, which was held in the 1.0.0. F. Hall in Pitt Street on Thursday night. The lodge was honoured with the presence of Past Grand Master Bro. Burchell, who opened the lodge In 1596. Other distinguished members of the order present were Sister Tailby, 1.P.L.D.D.G.M., Bro. R. Cooper, P.G.M., Bro. Robb. D.D.G.M.. Wellington North, and Bro. Newbold, D.D.G.M. During the evening, Sister Cole, who has over 20 years’ membership to her credit, was presented with the order’s Triple Links. Sister Cole, who is about to return to Ireland, carries with her the good wishes of members of the order for a pleasant voyage. Mrs. M. L. Tailby, who wore grey georgette and silk lace, fine pleated panel down front and back: Mrs. J. Hoffman, who was wearing black and silver figured satin; Airs. K. E. Bowden (Te Awamutu) had on beige crepe de chine, uneven hem, and diamente ornament: Mrs. -■V L. Robb (Wanganui) chose biscuit crepe do chine frock, with lace trimmings; Miss Phyllis Dick was in a frock of scarlet satin and tulle diamente brilliant; Miss Coral Kellv wore a blue and fawn taffeta frock: Miss R. Mai chose cinnamon silk georgette, with lace trimmings; Mrs. A. Culpitt. who wore turquoise silk georgette, and apricot trimmings; Miss V. Harding was wearing rose crepe romaine frock; Miss Mav Moore, who was in a frock of shell pink crepe de chine, frilled skirt.
Miss B. Randell had on fawn crepe de chine, with fawn lace; Miss Merle Gatland, wearing cream rayon; Miss Everett, wearing a pretty frock of printemps green crepe de chine, with flowered georgette cape; Miss M. Clarke, in a pink crepe cle chine frock; Miss Marjorie Atkinson had chosen cyclamen georgette; Miss G. Ivressin, who wore black georgette and green shawl; Miss Eileen Dick, wore black georgette, with gold trimmings and rosette: Mrs. A. Kelly, wearing blue satin and cream lace; Miss H. Marter had on rose beige crepe de chine; Mrs. Monaghan, who had on floral crepe de chine; Airs. A. Brown, in blue crepe de chine, and fawn trimming. Airs. Harriman, wearing bois de rose crepe fleuri; Miss M. Cameron, who had on blue silk rayon: Aliss Irene Kelly, wearing blue georgette and silver lace: Aliss AI. Walker, who wore scarlet chiffon velvet, trimmed with contrasting velvet: Aliss Beth Robb (Wanganui) was in lemon crepe de chine; Aliss Thelma Grant.who chose a floral georgette frock: Aliss \ Grant, wearing cyclamen crepe de chine and lace; Airs. Stevens, who was in navy crepe de chine, with lace sleeves; Aliss A. Kirvell had on cyclamen silk and gold ornament; Afrs. W. T. Culpitt wore pale blue silk rayon. Aliss AT. Tate was in floral crepe do chine; Airs. Atkinson, who wore black crepe de chine; Airs. Brennan, who had on black silk; Aliss E. Cameron, was in rose chiffon velvet taffeta, bow to match, silk shawl; Airs'. D. Brown had on black ring velvet and silver lace; Aliss Brownliiil had chosen black silk taffeta; Afrs. Gunn wore amethyst crepe de chine; Airs. F. Burgess, who had on flame satin beaute; Mrs. AlcAuliffe, wearing silk jumper suit; Aliss Al. Brown, who wore lilac satin, with uneven hem. and shawl.
Airs. Horspool had on black figured crepe de chine; Airs. I. Brown, wearing fawn ninon and oriental trimmings; Afrs. Nunn was in cherry and black georgette; Airs. Bellchamber had chosen lemorf crepe de chine; Airs. A. Godber, wearing black silk georgette and lace; Airs. Grant was in black georgette, with lace overskirt.
