CHRISTCHURCH PLAYERS WANT REFORMATION SECESSION POSSIBLE Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. “That this meeting of registered players of the Canterbury Rugby League places on record its utter lack
of confidence in the present Management Committee of the League in its attitude in the present dispute with the trustees of the League, and further this meeting pledges itself to take the proper steps to effect the retirement of the chairman, the secretary and the treasurer of the League, failing which the meeting invites all clubs to secede and re-form the League.” This motion had only one dissentient when it was carried at a meeting of League players last evening. The chairman referred to is Mr. J. K. Worrall.
