WAIRARAPA SALE Press Association MASTERTON, Thursday. Although there was a splendid offering of both flock and stud Romney rams at the Masterton Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s annual ram fair today, prices generally for stud sheep were disappointing for animals of good quality. However, there was good competition and prices compared well with recent fairs in other districts. The highest price for stud sheep was realised on account of Mr. W. Perry (Masterton), who received 105 guineas, the purchaser being Mr. W. A. Macfarlane. The next best price, 66 guineas, was secured by Mr. W. C. Small. The best of the flock rams realised 203; guineas. The fair will be continued tomorrow. PRODUCE IN SYDNEY SYDNEY, Thursday. The following are today's quotations on tlio Sydney produce market: Wheat.—Bulked parcels, 4s 9d: bagged, 4s lOd. Flour.— £ll 10s. Pollard.— £ 9. Bran.— £7 10s. Potatoes.—Tasmanian, £9 10s to £11; Victorian, £B. Onions. —Victorian Globes, £5. Oats. —White, ss; Algerian, 4s 6d. Maize.—6s 6d.
