DOWNFALL OF BRISBANE SOLICITOR SUM OF £3,150 INVOLVED Reed. 9 a.m. BRISBANE, Today. Robert McGowan, a solicitor, has been committed for trial on a charge of converting £3,150 of his clients’ money to his own use. The accused told the detectives that bookmakers got most of it.
