POLICEMAN’S DEATH
FOUND WOUNDED IN HEAD Press Association ASHBURTON, Wednesday. The death occurred last evening of Constable Brown, of Rakaia, who was admitted to hospital with severe wounds in his head, after having been found unconscious with a revolver lying on the floor near him. Constable Brown was transferred from Wellington to take charge of the Rakaia police station a month ago.
