A NOVEL COLD SWEET
Required: Stewed fruit; whipped cream; one round of prepared wheat for each person; a few chopped nuts or “hundreds and thousands.” The rounds of wheat are sold in packets and made by an American company. Hollow a little out of the centre of each, heap up some nicely stewed fruit on each, and then put on a generous pile of whipped and flavoured cream. Sprinkle a few chopped nuts or coloured “hundreds and thousands” on each.
