Mrs. J. Rotherham, o£ Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. F. Alison, of Waiheke, is staying at Hotel Cargen. Mr. and Mrs. E. Withers, of Wairoa, are at the Central Hotel. Miss R. Fox, of Riccarton, is spending a holiday in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. T. Oliver, of Dunedin, are guests at the Star Hotel. Mrs. G. H. Lacy, of Cheltenham Road, Devonport, is visiting Helensville. Mrs. R. E. Evans, of Christchurch, has left on an extended visit to Auckland. Mrs. Norman Brett and her family are staying at Thorne’s Bay, Takapuna. Mrs. E. B. Gunson, who has been visiting Rotorua, has returned to her home in Princes Street. Mr. and Mrs. .T. A. Stokes, of Lima, and Misses C. and J. Symes, of Hastings, are staying at the Hotel Cargen. Mrs. H. H. Cork, Wanganui, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. H. A. Horrocks, Arney Crescent, Remuera. * * * Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Falck, Christchurch, who have been visiting Auckland, left for the South last evening. * * * Miss Nellie Upton, Miss Prater and the Misses Marjorie and Nancy McCormick, of Auckland, are at present away on a motor tour of the North Island. * * * Mrs. Meek, who has been on an extended visit to Rotorua, has returned to her home in Minnehaha Avenue, Takapuna. * * * Among the guests staying at the Mansion House, Kawau, are Mrs. Palmer and Brigadier-General Palmer, London, Mr. and Mrs. Mellsop, Rotorua, Mrsl Bond and the Misses Bond, of Auckland, and Mrs. Benningfield, of London.
