Tennis Dance
JOLLY CLUB FUNCTION IS ORGANISED AT PAERATA SUCCESSFUL EVENING Much success attended a danceorganised by the Paerata Tennis Club held in the Paerata Hall. There was a large attendance, the hall being taxed to its utmost capacitj-. Music was supplied by Needham’s Orchestra, extras being contributed by Miss M. Mitchell and Mr. R. Holford. Among those present were: Mrs. D. Jamieson, wearing navy blue crepe de chine; Mrs. S. Wallingford (Hobsonville), in lemon taffeta; Mrs. Peterson, cherry 6atin; Mrs. Wright, black georgette; Mrs. Reid, blue jersey silk; Mrs. Queenin, blue taffeta; Mrs. Miller, sea green satin; Mrs. McLeod, fawn crepe do chine; Mrs. W„ Bethell, black georgette. Miss Myrtle Henry, in a frock of green lace; Miss Enid Parton, blue floial crepe de chine; Miss A. White, black crepe de chine; Miss D. Gray, green crepe de chine; Miss K. Brooks, cream silk; Miss Mavis Peterson, shell pink net: Miss E. Pegler, saxe blue crepe de chine; Miss Belle Charles, lemon satin; Miss Marjorie Jamieson, cream floral voile; Miss B. Jamieson, blue floral crepe de chine; Miss Phillipa Zinzan, primrose flowered voile. Miss Vera Keith, who wore cream crepe de chine; Miss Alma Gurney, black satin; Miss Rogers, pale pink organdie; Miss Pollock, apple green crepe de chine; Miss G. Patterson, black satin; Miss Edna Potier, green panne velvet; Miss M. Mitchell, cream lace: Miss Beryl Bowman, old gold satin: Miss B. James, floral crepe de chine; Miss Amy Ingram, powder blue crepe de chine: Miss Smith, lemon lace; Miss Irene Bethell, figured voile; Miss P. Bethell, midnight blue satin and tulle.
