TARDIEU REFUSES

Tardieu has refused to re-form his Cabinet or return to the London Naval Conference. In facing the French Cabinet crisis the President, M. Doumergue, interviewed the leaders of all the political parties, including M. Poincare. The last-named has had to silence rumours by issuing a declaration that he is not a candidate for the Premiership.
