BIGGER FAIR WANTED
SCHEME FOR TRAVELLING EXHIBITION BRITISH COMMITTEE SET UP Reed. noon. LONDON, Wed. The President of the Board of Trade has set up a committee of prominent business men to examine the present situation as regards the British Industries Fair, and to consider what means can be adopted to increase still further its utility to British trade. The chairman is Viscount Chelmsford. The committee will also investigate and report oil the possibility of extending the scope of the fair and of holding a second fair in the autumn; also on the advantages of holding the fair, or sections of it, at various centres abroad, and of organising a -travelling fair either in ships or trains.
