BALLOT FOR SEATS
MONEY TURNED AWAY AT WIMBLEDON POPULAR TENNIS MATCHES LONDON, Monday. The authorities at the Wimbledon lawn tennis courts have returned about £60,000 to unsuccessful applicants for season tickets for the championships, although the new method of dividing season tickets will allow of attendance only on alternate days. This means that 7,000 seats will be allotted by ballot.
