ELLERSLIE WEDDING
BRIDE IN VICTORIAN FROCK JONES—-CORRIGAN Last Wednesday a very pretty wedding took place at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ellerslie, between Alice Rose, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Corrigan, of Ellerslie, and Henry Joseph, elder son of Mr. 11. Jones, of Hokitika. A Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Monsignor Lane. The bride entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr. Ed. Corrigan, of Wellington, wearing an early Victorian frock of crepe satin with an uneven transparent lace hem. Her Brussels net veil was attractively arranged with orange blossom. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet. The bridesmaid, Miss Kathleen Temm, wore a three-tiered frock of ciel blue georgette with lemon bankok hat. She carried a bouquet of blue and pink dahlias. Mr. Jack Jones, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. After the reception, which was held at the Domain Tea Kiosk, Mr. and Mrs. FI. Jones left for the South.
