NEW UNION STEAMERS
FOR N.Z. COASTAL TRADE Press Association WELLINGTON, Tuesday, "he Union Steam Ship Company advises that the Wainui, the third of its new cargo steamers, was to have left England today for Wellington, via the Panama Canal, and is due here about April 3. The Wainui is a vessel of 1,500 tons gross, and has been built to take the place of the Corinna in the Dunedin - Wellington - Nelson - New Plymouth service. Captain G. B. Hoddinott will bring the Wainui to New Zealand. The Talune, the fourth of the new steamers. Is expected to leave England about the end of this month. She w:U be followed about a month later by the Waimarino, the last of the company's new steamers. Captain Murray will bring the Taiune, and Captain A. S. Dalgleish the Waimarino.
