ROXY
TWO FINE TALKIES Many and varied are the detective roles that have been portrayed by Ralph Theodore, celebrated New York stage star, who plays the detective in “Light Fingers,” the Columbia alltalking picture, which comes to the Roxy Theatre today at the head of a big double talkie bill. In “Light Fingers,” the second motion picture of his career, he is a brilliant sleuth who matches his wits against a band of intelligent crooks. In this film he plays with Dorothy Revier, with whom he also played in the screen version of “Burlesque.” Others in the cast include lan Keith, who is co-starred with Miss Revier, Carroll Nye and Charles Gerrard. A second big talking drama will be presented on the same programme this evening. This is “Acquitted,” a tense underworld court drama, with 100 per cent, dialogue. Margaret Livingston, Lloyd Hughes and Sam Hardy are the stars.
