STUDY OF PSYCHOLOGY
CLUB’S AIMS OUTLINED A talk on the aim and objects of the Auckland Practical Psychology Club was given at the opening meeting of the season held in the Fountain of Friendship Building in Newton Hoad on Monday evening. Friends and intending members were welcomed by the president, Mr. C. M. Cavit. Mr. Cavit expressed the opinion that many people studied psychology with the intention of becoming millionaires, and although it could be used in this direction it must be backed by a personal effort. The club was formed for creative purposes. There was a decided spiirtual growth among the members. and they had received good mental food. He was of the opinion that they had too much spoon feeding and must express themselves more. The Fellowship Branch, which had been formed under the leadership of Mrs. Harvey for healing and spiritual teaching, was meeting with great success. Mrs. Bee was elected organising secretary.
