A copyright wireless message from Sir Hubert Wilkins says: Unprecedented weather in the Antarctic caused a cessation of our exploration work for this year. The William Scoresby's three weeks’ cruise through the ice-sea has been a period of constant danger and hardship. Frequently the ship plunged into ice-crested waves 20ft high. Unfa,vourable atmospheric conditions rendered wireless communication with Deception Island impossible.
