DIGNITY OF LABOUR
CENTENARIAN FARM HAND HONOURED STILL WORKS IN FIELD Reed. 9.10 a.m. PARIS, Monday. A unique honour has been conferred upon a centenarian farm labourer Jaseph Zalewski, aged 103, who has been appointed a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour. The citation states: “Starting work on a farm at the age of 10, he has remained on his native soil ever since. Even now he works in the fields with his great-grandchildren.
