WHANGAREI WEDDING
BRIDE ATTENDED BY SISTERS LEES—FINNAGAN A very pretty wedding took place recently at Christ Church, Whangarei, when Doris Lillian, eldest daughter of Mr. J. Finnagan, of Whangarei, was married to Jack Lovell, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Lees, of Whangarei- The Rev. H. T. Steele performed the ceremony. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was charmingly attired in a gown of ivory georgette over satin, fashioned on simple lines, her long tullo veil, which formed the train, being swathed over the head and held a.t each side with clusters of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of pale pink and white roses, and was attended by her sister, Aliss Gladys Finnagan, as bridesmaid. Aliss Finnagan wore lime-green embroidered georgette and taffeta, with a picture hat to tone. She carried a shower bouquet of autumn tints. The little flower-girl, the bride’s sister, Elsie, wore a dainty frock of love-in-a-mist georgette, and a poke bonnet of the same shade. Her posy was of blue hydrangeas and pink cornflowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. G. Archer.
