MAILS HOME.—The acting-chief postmaster has received advice that mails, which left Auckland on January 14, per R.M.M.S. Aorangi. via Vancouver, arrived in London on February 15. MARLBOROUGH RACES.—The local office of the Union Company has been advised that for the convenience of patrons of the Marlborough races on February 28. the Tamahine will leave Wellington at midnight on February 27 for Picton, instead of her usual sailing time, Friday, February 28, at 3 p.m.. and will leave Picton for Wellington at 2.30 p.m. the following day.
