OPENING OF TOURNAMENT From Our Own Correspondent TAURANGA, Today. The eleventh annua! bowling tournament was opened this morning in glorious weather. Eighteen clubs are represented. The president, Mr. ending, extended a hearty welcome to the visitors. Play is proceeding.

MANGERE TOURNEY PAPATOETOE’S SUCCESS The final of the Manger© full rink tournament, which was played yesterday afternoon, resulted in a win for t.ho Papatoetoe team skipped by Bayliss. Play was affected by a strong gusty wind. Details are:—McCullough, Franklin, Knight, Bayliss (Papatoetoe) 24, Picker, MacAulay, Studd, Connor (Mangere) 16.
