TENNIS TOURISTS
AUSTRALIAN PLAYERS’ ITINERARY AMENDMENT NECESSARY Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association has found it necessary to amend the itinerary of the Australian team. The match against Wellington has been cancelled and the match against the North Island will be played at Wellington instead of at Palmerston on February 3S and March 1 under the control of the New Zealand Association. The visitors will go to Masterton and then to Christchurch, where the test will be played on March 7 and 8. The secretary stated today that no match could be played at Palmerston North owing to the difficulty of providing suitable arrangements for a bis match on the Palmerston courts.
