TWO NEW YORK BOUTS NEW YORK, Saturday. York, Rosenbloom (1721 b) defeated Uudkins (1651 b). The contest was fast and close throughout. At Detroit Walker (163 Mb) defeated Lomski (173 Mb) in a 10 -round decision bout. This was the winner’s first contest in an attempt to win the light-heavy-weight title.
The New Y r ork Athletic Commission has received a cablegram from Max Sehmeling offering to meet the winner of the Sharkey-Scott contest, which is to take place on February 27.
