ARREST OF JEWS
RUSSIAN POLICE CHARGE RABBIS INTERCEPTION OF APPEAL United P.A.—By Telegraph—Copyright Reed. 1 p.m. LONDON, Sunday. The Jewish telegraphic agency has been advised front Moscow that the police have arrested a Jewish religious committee at Minsk, including three Rabbis and four preachers, on a charge of engaging in counterrevolutionary activities. The police claim to have discovered letters addressed to Jewish organisations abroad appealing for help to save the Jewish community in Russia from annihilation. They accuse the arrested persons of supplying the American, Rabbi Glazer, a recent visitor to Russia, with documents referring to religious persecution.
