GOOD PICTURES AT LYRIC

A most enjoyable film programme is now being screened at the Lyric Theatre. The chief film is “Sporting Goods,” a delightfully clever comedy of ultra-fashionable sports wear, particularly a new golfing suit. Richard Dix is seen as a travelling salesman who books a large order and meets the girl of his heart all on the one trip.

The second feature, also a comedy, is “The Good-bye Kiss,” and is a wartime tale directed by Mack Sennett.
