UNCLE FACES ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE FURTHER REMAND GRANTED Charged with attempted murder, Kone Pairama, a farmer, aged 30, was again remanded for a week at the Police Court this morning. The offence is have been committed at Paearuhue, near Te Kuiti. on January 27. The remands have been necessary pending the recovery of Timi Ahurangi, accused’s nephew, who was admitted to the Te Kuiti Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound in the groin. The case is to be heard at Te Kuiti, where Ahurangi’s evidence has already been taken at the hospital. Pairama is being held at the Mount Eden gaol in the meantime.
