VALKYRIE FOR NORFOLK
MONTH’S TRIP PLANNED EIGHT AUCKLANDERS GOING The yacht Valkyrie, v/hich has not long returned from an adventurous cruise to the Fiji Islands, is shortly to undertake another voyage. The vessel is ' expected to , leave Auckland on Wednesday evening with a company of eight Aucklanders, who will share expenses. The yacht will carry in addition to her owner, Captain E. Gilling, and a crew of four, one of whom is a young fellow who joined the ship at Suva during last voyage. The other tlifee were signed on this week. Captain Gilling said today that he expected the trip to Norfolk to occupy from five to seven days, given fair weather. At present five of his guests had definitely decided to make the voyage and it was expected that the remaining three would be ready early this week. The captain said he intends to make, another long voyage among the Islands toward the end of March.
